Diff Fluid Question

Whats the proper amount of fluid for the Ford 8.8 diff with the Ford racing cover. I have narrow width IRS and have already put one quart of Royal Purple Synthetic W75 - 140 oil in diff. Top off plug is removed, and still nothing is dripping out.

There are estimated fluid quantities in the appendices at the back of the build manual. 1.875 quarts is the figure for an 8.8 according to the manual.
