C. Plavan's 818R with engine cover vents and the trunk louver

What:
Laser cut louver panels to fit on top of the engine cover humps.

Why:
Heat rises. In the engine bay the highest point are the humps in the engine cover which capture the air like a nice parachute. These vents allow hot air to escape out the back both at speed and when sitting still. They also lend a look reminiscent of the Audi R8 convertible.

Cost:
$50

Shipping
Parts will ship flat and be quoted based on buyers zip code, typically around $10.

Includes
2 Laser cut aluminum louver panels.

Thanks Craig, I'll say yes please. I haven't yet fitted the front hinges, and I'm due back in the USA first week of October. Please keep a set of these aside for me.

Hi Craig, count me in on a set.
When you have the front hood hinges ready I'll get you to ship them together. No rush.

What about making a set of these that would clear the soft top? The blue tape is completely outside the top.

I can take a look at it. Need to finish some other projects first.

Awesome, thanks! I'm in no rush either. This is about #15 on my winter projects list for the car.

I can see them now. Looks good. Mine are powder coated gloss black and awaiting install. Just have so many items on the punch-list!
