Premium soft top Mk4

I am about to pull the trigger on a Premium Top for my MK4. Are there any suggestions re: advantage of zip out rear window & rear quarter windows?

how does the top look with the rear quarter windows?

Do any owners of the top have any regrets?

My only regret is that I didn't get zip out rear window and quarter windows! they look great and elimnate the blind spot.

Based on my experience w/ my APE hardtop, I would definately want the zip out rear window. Not sure there would be a big gain on zip out quarters although permanent quaters would be a great idea as FFinisher says. W/ the side and rear windows out my car has a really nice wind flow through and a lot of the beating on the side of your head is gone.

Get the quarter windows and zip out rear, they are great. When its really hot I run with the top on. Also they will do a tan color for free or almost any color with an up charge. I got the tan and think it looks good with the dark blue mk4.

I finally pulled the trigger on the soft top (ordered one week ago). Should arrive in a few weeks. I will post pics when installed I ordered the rear quarter windows and zip out rear.

I finally received my soft top (see the pics - not great quality). I think the top looks great and extremely functional (although quite expensive). I Highly recommend.

Thx for the comments. I took the car for a 2 hr run today with with the passenger side window installed. The car seems even better with the top on and side window in. Although I enjoy the open air on hot summer days, with the top installed driver fatigue is significantly reduced and changed the driving experience by reducing the wind and exhaust noise. Very high quality top that does not take anything away from the beauty of these cars. I will likely leave the top on for for the next few months as I can not believe how the driving experience has changed (I should have ordered one of these a long time ago). You really need to drive in one to understand the difference. This top will mean longer road trips and hopefully a trip to visit the factory in Mas.

I give Factory Five and Rod Tops a 10 out of 10 on this top. Well done. My wife and her sister said that the top makes "the car look like it's wearing a tuxedo" - I could not have said it better.

Hi Caro - yes I did get the zip out rear window. Nice the have the flexibility and I can replace it if ever needed. Great top - Amazing car!
