body work sanding?

Question for those guys who have mounted there rear engine cover and trunk, did you have to sand the bottom edges down to get the deck lids to sit flush with the side sails? It looks like Factory five left the egdes on the deck lid and trunk with extra material you need to remove down?

Yes I have had the same issues, and not just there, hood, rear deck etc.. I draw a layout line then use a belt sander to trim them.

I used a sawzall. Just go slow.

Yes. Used a dremel with a cut off wheel on all 3. If you can have a second person hold a shop vac up near the cut, it keeps the dust to a reasonable level.
