Clutch Adjustment

Im having problems with my clutch cable. I can turn the clutch cable knob thing and get the clutch set perfect, then the car may sit for a week and I go to drive it and its out of adjustment again. Anyone have any clue why its doing this? Do I need to replace the cable?

Does the other end of the cable have a threaded adjuster? Maybe its coming loose?

The end at the tranny or the end at the fire wall?

at the tranny. Some cables are adjustable for length. Check it out.

ok, will take a look under car when I get home tonight. Where is a good place to buy a replacement cable from? Someoen told me to buy a new one that is adjustable?
