Long time Cobra fan since my first ride back in the late sixties in a 289. Lasting impression that will be relived once again. The 20th Anniversary event at the FFR open house pushed me over the top. While I just missed securing a 20th Anniversary Model, FFR worked up a deal that will just about replicate the 20th. Order placed with a delivery on or about my 68th birthday in September. Selected Mike Forte to build the turn key engine.
I will be building the car in the Western Maine mountains during the long winter season. Working full time on the car should have it ready for the summer of 2016. Thanks to FFR for making the dream a reality.

Rick,

Your never too old to fulfill the dream..................I was 69 when I started my journey back in February of 2012 and I wouldn't hesitate to do another if something happened to mine. Walking through the garage and seeing Ruby (my wife's name for the car) sitting there waiting just makes every day a little brighter.

There is a great group of guys on this forum to help you along the way, so don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Rick,

Good luck getting your project done by the spring so you can enjoy the full driving season.
