Hump is probably hot from the turbo. The stock WRX has a little opening in the hood scoop to let hot air from the turbo rise up and out when the car is at a standstill.

Very 'cool'... I'll add that when interpreting the photos, materials with low emmisivity (polished bare metal surfaces) are probably hotter than they appear. The temperature scale is calibrated for objects with high emmisivity (painted/coated metal, asphalt, etc...). The FLIR camera a great tool for this type of qualitative assessment.
