Hi,
I would love to see the new IRS set-up in the 33. It actually changes the position of the rear axle center line so it lines up better on the body and in the fenders ( if you use fenders) . I am considering ordering one very soon and will most likely be picking it up. Might be able to save some money in shipping also ! Let me know . Thanks

This was announced just a few weeks ago at the open house, I doubt that there have been many produced at this time and the chance of one being in the Carolina's at this time is even smaller.

I was going to say the same thing. Pretty sure the 33 chassis with the 2015 Mustang IRS shown at the Open House is the only one in existence at this time.

Turns out I got a PM from a guy about 1 hour away, that has one scheduled for the first week of August. Not sure why you think the Carolina's would not have any ! Charlotte is the NASCAR racing center of the united states.

Are You " Just Say'in " That us Carolinian's don't understand that NASCAR uses solid axles. and that the solid NASCAR rear ends are 9" ford and not 8.8"
Did you guys decide to look at my post total and figure that since it was under 20 , that I had no idea what end of a socket wrench to hold ?
I built my first FFR roadster in 1996 (A MK1) and I have been a continued repeat customer for the last 20 Years !! I have built over 2 dozen FFR kits ranging from the roadster to the coupe ( w/IRS ) a GTM. and a 33 .
I can't get past the condescending attitude that some of you guys take with someone that you THINK is a nube. " Just Say'in !! "

Damn boy, I didn't take his post the way you did. Simply thinks the solid axle is good enough. That said the 33 with the IRS rides beautifully. I had the privilege to be in the flame hot rod with the new IRS for an extended ride over several days. I was impressed to say the least.... Very impressed. I will be at F5R today if you want pics let me know what you need and I will take them for you.

Thanks for the offer of pictures, That is very kind, but I will just wait a while and see one in person or just go ahead and order one based on what you have said and other things I have read.

I started this thread to see if I could save someone a few bucks on shipping , ( share the cost) Anybody between Mass. and south Carolina could have me pick their kit up and drop it off to them on my way back. Let me know if that works for anybody.

I didn't see anything offensive in the post you reacted to, I think I see the logic he was using.
There are no 33IRS on the road out side of the factory car and it's so new that IF one was out there when you reduce the target area to the Carolina's by geography or population the percentage chance gets really small. I do hope to see one at SEMA this year and I'm happy they fixed part of the wheelbase problem with the 33 IRS option.

I'm kinda late getting on this forum, but I saw your post and thought I would chime in. I am in Aiken, SC and seriously considering the 33 with IRS. Probably too late to ship together but I would really like to check out your project if you are doing it.
