View Full Version : new clutch quadrant and pedal box issue

I have the 5 piece clutch quadrant and I have mounted to the top of the pedal like the instructions say, then I go to mount the wilwood pedals to the big bracket. This is the problem - the clutch has about half inch of movement! Something is wrong. I looked at Dan's video and I have things the right way round. Am I missing something here?

Looks like there is something wrong with the pedal assy mounting plate/frame. Mine has a cut-out towards the front of the vehicle (if that makes sense).

thanks for the pic. I just cut a piece out of mine so it now looks like yours! Can't see the point of the bolt stop with this arrangement.

Hope that works out for you. I plan to use a hydraulic clutch so I didn't assemble the quadrant or check for clearance. I just received my kit a week or two ago - perhaps there was a design change to accomodate the revised quadrant. Hopefully someone more experienced will chime in on this.

Someone sent me updated instructions. I had no idea they were available. The new pedal mounting bracket has a slot cut into it, so the problem has been addressed.
