Remember When...Open House 10 Years Ago

Ten years ago, we celebrated our first Open House in our new (under construction) facility. We have some special surprises planned for this year's event and hope you can join us on June 11th. Here are some pictures from June 2001!

Joe Camire with his son Jacob. Joe recently helped us with the Mitty Show and Jacob has grown up. Joe has his own Challenge Car these days.

That's a great turn out for the new buidling. Congrats on 10 years at the new facility. I wont be attending the 2011 meet, but hopefully in the near future I'll roll in with one of your awesome kits!

TIME FLYS. I can't beleive 9 years as already passed since ROGER STINE & I were there in 2002. Will try & fly back for this years OPEN HOUSE but they just told me filming on RING OF THE FALLEN has been moved back to JUNE 1ST so I may be filming that weekend.

Kermit, indeed on time flying, it's over 5 years now since I made the decision to build my car, and December will be 5 years since I picked up the kit. I really wanted to get it up to the open house this year, but it's not going to happen.

Hopefully be there next year!!

The new shop is much better than the old one. I remember walking around at the old one, 2 buildings, with Mark Weber and Mark Smith.

My yearly trips never seem to happen with the open house. One of these years.

Lets say I was to be in DC the week of open house.
Lets also say that my wife is NOT a car person of any sort.
Lets continue with the idea that my two 10 year old boys are just now getting really interested in cars.

Rate the level of estimated backlash if I ask said wife to endure an 8 hour drive (+8 hour return) to Mass. the day after a flight from California.

Sadly, I don't think I can swing the open house even though it's this > < close, for a "westerner".

Way Kool Don!! Thanks for the photo! Jake had a great time at the open house that year. It wasn't paying attention to the camera as he wanted to look at the cars!

It is hard to believe the NATS were that long ago! And you have done well with 83,000 miles!!

I remember the very first open house, Bill K, Hank D, Tim L,and I got up early (4am) and took off in a smattering of FFR and non FFR (a mustang convertible and my 68 GT350 ****** convertible) vehicles.........I can remember making several other trips uo to open houses, up until 4 years ago, I do not believe I missed one............
