After 8 years of waiting, late last night FFR MkIII #4306 is home.

No idea where to start. Only missing piece.....assembly manual.

I'll add the pictures when I get home tonight.

I have a MK3 manual (I think it's MK3) collecting dust and taking up space, let me know if you want it. Someone gave it to me when I first started looking and I'll be more than happy to pass it along to a good home. :D

Joel,

Congrats on the purchase, how about some pics. What status is the car in, is it finished and on the road, or still being built???

Car is basically un-started. Has some of the aluminum installed, but that is it.

Plan on a 4.6L, with a T-56, has IRS and dual roll bars.

Jeff, awesome purchase, should be lots of fun, look forward to seeing how the build comes along.

One quick note, is that rear bulkhead already rivited in place? (hard to tell, but looked like it) If it is, getting the holes drilled for the upper section of the trunk may be a PITA, a right angle drill and a little extra silicon should help though when you get there. A guy I know did the same thing... no really it wasn't me.... :-)

I am building a MK III but I found that manual lacking so I went with a MK IV manual. It's much better with only a few differences but much more detailed.

There is a web based build manual that is a great supplement to the manual. I cant remember its address can someone provide it?

Just drill out the panels that are prematurely installed.

Easy enough to drill the rivits out, getting the panel free of the silicon without mangling it can be a challange though ;-)
