I have a Mk 1 Roadster which I purchased a year ago. During routine service I noticed the driver's side front Pro Shock adjusting ring had been able to rotate. (The tie wrap broke.)
I counted the number of threads exposed on the pass side shock and adjusted the drivers side to match. Is this sufficient? If not, where and how do I check ride height to see if it has changed? Do I need to check corner weight? Do I need to have the car re aligned?

Normally the ride height is taken from the bottom of the 4" round frame tubes to the ground, on a flat level surface. I hope you made a note of the original ride height? You shouldn't need an alignment if you bring the ride height back to what it was when originally aligned.
Corner weight adjustments are often very subtle. Even half a turn on the adjustment ring could make a difference. Did you even have this done initially? If so might not be a bad idea to check them again.

Do the Pro shocks depend entirely just on a zip tie, to hold the adjustment ring in place..? The Koni's have set screws to anchor them. I wonder if you could drill and tap the Pro rings for them. Lot of work but that would solve the issue in the long run.
