i hate electricity

two strange things happening. from day one every time i turn on ignition or acc the hazards start. i just hit the switch twice to turn them off. but more importantly my directionals just quit. they were working fine last week. Got VIN last week and would like to register this week but need directional to pass inspection. replaced flasher still nothing. put meter to it and there is nothing at the panel. have horn, headlights, hazards. HELP!!!!

There is a good chance you have a bad ground in the system. Power is being fed via the poor ground connection back into other circuits. Good luck, it can be a tough problem to find and cause strange things to operate.

What harness are you using? Sounds like it is a bad ground as stated above. Not too hard to chase it down.
