For those with a highly powerful 818, this car seems to be the closest comparable I could find yet. It's very similar looking (check out the roll bar!), probably similar sized, same weight (I expect about 900kg with my VR6 in) and same power. This one makes it up to 60mph in under 3. Why wouldn't we believe the 818 with same power/weight make it under 3? The 818 has a worse traction?

This one costs uhm about USD$130k. 100k more than most 450hp 818. And they say no car under USD$160k would make it close to 7mins on the Green Hell. What about the 818? Maybe it can. Who's close to the Nurburgring and could test it around? :) That'd be my dream.

That Lotus is really good looking. I bet Wayne is going to buy one of the 311. Oh nice, I just realized, they will build 311 of them, cuz it's the 3-Eleven. :)

Its still a really good comparison but I think the development of the 3-11 and its performance refinement would be really hard to catch. with significant R and D (read $$$$$) the 818 could do it. but then its well around the same price I would say.

Way overpriced for what you get. The track version is $180k....... No thanks.

Lap time wise, my 818R has already beaten some Lotus 2 Eleven track records. (with 283hp @ >2266 minimum weight). Now if I could just get it to run for over 20 minutes....
