block off panel?

Ok s the Aluminum piece that is just behind the rear roll bar ( the one with the double humps and seals off the engine bay) is there a seal that goes on the top edge that sits agains the engine cover? just not sure what everyone is doing on that edge. and with that seal on does it support the that edge of the engine cover?

I've seen a pic of someone using bulb seal on top of both humps, yes.
