I was on my way to Petosky on US31. I was driving through downtown Charlevoix and I spotted what I thought was a Factory Five kit.

On closer inspection, however, it became clear that I was looking at an original.

It was parked in front of a little cafe and the owner saw me looking it over and beckoned me in. I talked to him and his wife for a bit. It turns out there were 13 original Cobras on a little tour of the UP and the coast of Lake Michigan. They meet up every year. He directed me to the hotel where everyone was saying. I took a few photos.

I'm pretty sure I'll never see 13 of these in one place at one time again.

Pretty cool!
Interesting to note that these isn't a set of center stripes in the whole bunch.

Yes, thank you for these pictures. In addition to the lack of stripes, there were quite a few w/o hood scoops including the white 427. That surprised me.

I think it's fantastic that they actually drive their prized possessions and don't just keep them squirreled away in a climate controlled garage somewhere.

Fantastic, and thanks for sharing. I've been going up to Charlevoix for years (recognize that lot/streets), just wish I had been there at this particular time. Wow!

And NO side pipes either.
I thought that, then spotted sidepipes on the red 427

Thanks for posting photos of what would had to been an epic site.
13 x $800,000 = $10.4M or more in running hardware there ... conservatively.

I really like the chrome small barred grill. Does anyone with a FFR run this grill? Is the grill available to fit FFRs?
