I went to two events and had two drivers at each. We got put in EM, taken out for AM in one event. The other we were in SSM then taken out for XP.

I have absolutely no idea, but I think Am is right (and unfairly fast for the 818 around tight courses).

EM for this year (note: finished cars, at least- you may get thrown just about anywhere without the body). Duck tails, splitters, diffusers. No wings! We're..plenty.. heavy, wide, and long enough.

I would love playing in XP. Easier rules, and honestly more similar cars. SSM would be good too. EM is tough nationally against Kiesel in the sprite, and the Jeep.

Andrew, is there a fastrack notation that I can refer to? w/o I'll be in AM for sure. EM is the correct place for the car, by class definition. EP would be a force fit since it isn't a series production car, as required for a prepared class

Dan, its mentioned in the general ruleset: http://cdn.growassets.net/user_files/scca/downloads/000/003/742/2015-5-19_SCCA_Solo_Rules_book_online_reduced.pdf?1432652 746

(just search for factory five in that PDF)

and by weight/power, its EM not DM. We incur an additional weight penalty for "modified tub" but we're heavier than that anyway.

There's the fastrack notice, but it's not as useful.

Thanks for the heads up, Where did DM come from?

Been driving the kart for too long... an NA 2.0L Subaru motor in an 818 would be DM, but impossible to make 1380 + 40 lbs min weight!
