My best friend has a '69 Mustang survivor that's in pristine condition. However, he doesn't like the way it runs and he's hesitant to take it anyware without a chase car and crew ;)

It currently has a 302 two-barrel and he'd like to swap in a modern EFI system that looks like a carb. He'll just store the 2V setup in case he decides to sell. I know there are several systems available, but I can't give him any useful guidance. What is the best compromise between driveability, ease of setup and cost? Reliability and driveability are way more important than horsepower.

Check out my coupe build thread. I used Professional Products, Proinjection III and their crosswinds intake on my 5.0. It works great for me and easy to tune, IMO.

I used the EZ-EFI system with the four barrel for about three years on my big block Dart with a pretty radical roller cam. It was probably the most radical can you could run with it, but it worked great. I plan to use the multiport version of the EZ-EFI on my 5.0 in lue of the factory computer.
