Not bringing my coupe either. Look for a (blue) CTS in the pits with VIP tags on the mirror, it would be nice to meet you.
I always enjoy your posts and willingness to share your build with others.
The cruise night at the host hotel was a really good event last year with lots of top notch street rods and that part is free.

I had the fortune to meet Dale, aka myjones at this event on last Sat. It is always so nice to meet another FFR builder in person. Dale showed me photos of his 33 build so far. All I can say is what a craftsman and innovator this fellow is. Wow! I hope he posts more photos of his build. That car is going to be awesome. Unfortunately it rained most of Sat. and I left around noon. Friday I did see a lot of action. I was surprised that there were no FFR cars in the car show part of the event. I will have to change that next year. LOL.

It was nice to meet you as well. I had no idea you had built that many kits already and have become a favored builder.
The Hotrod reunion is always a great event for streetrods and adding a few factory five's to that show would be great.
I spent a lot of time sitting in the shade behind Big Daddy Don's trailer because we stored our chairs in there and we could chat with a lot of top fuel guys as they dropped
by and we could also watch the crew in the next pit prep their TF rail car between races. I was shocked to find out that some A-hole had
slashed all 3 trailer tires on the back side of Don's rig and the front tire on his Ram tow vehicle. I didn't have a direct line of site because of his truck but there
were a lot of people milling around the day it happened. After we got him new tires and put them on the trailer he packed up and left the event a day early. The tire slash
story was viral almost instantly with blame being put on a lot of people he had raced against but it looks like it wasn't a racer at all but someone that thought Don started dating
too soon after his wife passed away. IF that was true I say what Don does in his personal life is his business and no one else's. ;>(
