When I removed the wiring harness from my 2006 WRX donor, there was an unused plug (at least I labeled it as unused when I was pulling it out). It turns out to be connector B423 to the impact sensor. Could the previous owner have removed it? I don't even know what it looks like. What are the consequences of not having it installed? Will I get any OBD error codes or funky behavior?

the impact sensor is part of the air bag system. I believe everyone is deleting that system.
The only down side is that the airbag light on the dash comes on. It can be jumped off.
