Is anyone running dual disc clutch setups with aluminum flywheels? thinking about it as I prepare for a new 347 stroker engine...no crate motor this time, gonna do it my way...just have not had much experience with this type of clutch other than a few runs in a genuine Ford GT supercar, which uses that same setup with great to incredible results. SNAPS your head BIG TIME when you bang gears, and with the much lighter curb weight of a FFR it may get nuts in a hurry...no doubt the rev limt chip will see some action.

Hi,
These twin disc clutch kits are more popular than ever. The twin disc kits are much better than they were years ago. The 9.5" kit works well. Call me if you are looking for a complete kit.

What do they go for with an aluminum flywheel, Mike?

I just put one in my car, i don't notice a big increase in peddle feel from my king cobra pressure plate.
It doe's grab earlier and firmer.
I have no complaints after 225 miles.

Mcleod 10.5" street twin disk.

Are you looking for a small diameter race or a street twin?

Hi,

I run a 5.5 quartermaster 2 disc clutch with 105 tooth flywheel. It works almost to good. If you have not drove a 2 disc clutch, there is a learning curve. And clutch life can be short. But it does rev quick, and I have bent two banana bars. Their is no slipping the clutch.
