Exhaust Smell

Ever since our second child was born, my wife can smell like a blood hound. On her first ride in my Mark4 (with computer controlled 4.6 DOHC), she stated that she was not riding with me again until I got rid of the exhaust smell. What she was referring to was the pre-catalytic converter exhaust smell that comes from all cars without the converter. I installed a set of Cats from FFR and the wife is now joining me on road trips. The exhaust is also much quieter which makes it nice when trying to carry on a conversation and I cannot tell a difference in performance................... A happy wife is a happy life.

You won't even try to start your engine in the garage, but push it out onto the driveway, else your loyal watch dog will croak from the exhaust fumes. If you idle next to other "sports" cars at a traffic light, by the green, their girlfriend will be coughing green phlegm into her hanky, yelling at her date to just go!:D

I run race fuel in mine and love the smell sitting at stop lights... I'm sure it's really, really bad for me, but it's sooooo cool.

But it's a Cobra. They do that. It's part of the ownership experience.:cool:
