Prior to installing your front breeze battery box check your steering rack mounting bolts as they have to go in from the front or you will not be able to change out the rack at a later date do not ask how I know

Good reminder since lots of people (including me) use Mark's front mounted battery box. Not to be smart about it, but Mark does mention which way to install the steering rack bolts in his instructions for this exact reason.

I normally unpack my boxes do an inventory and read the instructions at least twice my instructions 70561 rev1 make no mention of rack bolts but a gas axe fixed the problem as I did not want to deal with those stainless rivets again.

Could just drill a socket sized hole through the back plate and pull the bolt throught...just a thought

That's the same version instructions I have, and you're right. No mention of reversing the rack bolts. My apologies! But I'm sure I'm not crazy (well, pretty sure...) so dug through my Breeze instructions to see where I may have read that. Sure enough, there it is on the instructions for 70634 solid offset centering rack mounting kit. Page 2 "Repeat for the passenger side, but insert the bolt from the front. This will allow removal and replacement with the Breeze engine compartment battery mounting kit installed." Useful information but not too helpful if you didn't buy the rack mounting kit. Again my apologies. Probably shouldn't have said anything in the first place. Now removing foot from mouth.
