2nd annual Cape Cook-out before the open house (Free).

We did this last year and it was a great success. So we are doing it again!

The get together is the night before the Open House. So this year the party will be June 12th at 6pm. I live about 15 miles from Factory Five and very easy off the highway access. Our home is at the end of a long road and long driveway so parking and noise is not an issue. Open to any F5R'er and friends of said F5R'er. All models are welcome. I will supply burgers and dogs. BYOB though. Plenty of room for entertaining and parking. Maybe some of those that came last year can chime in to what a great time we had. Sign up below. Though not mandatory it would be great if it could be a semi-potluck. Someone bring chips, someone else dip, someone bring vegies...ect. enough to share. I will have plenty of the burgers and dogs....the good stuff! It really is a great time and gives us more time to become friendly then in the crowds of the open house. For the record I am a fellow F5R'er and am on my 5th kit (currently still own 2 1/2 cars).

Hey Jim,

I will attest that last years party was a blast. Nancy and I had a great time, meeting some of the forum members, and hanging out. I think it's the best time to talk cars, getting to know folks better, without the distractions that are found at the Open House, which in it self is also great.

I encourage everyone to come and get to know a great guy along with his family,have a great time, and share your experiences, plus how can anyone turn down burgers and dogs.

Come hungry, I purchase 80 hamburgers and 60 Hot dogs and some of the party goers are bring other food items. Looks like we will be around 30-35 of us. I can't wait to catch up with old friends and meet a few new ones. It will be a great time for sure.

I say next year we should get Dave to donate a MKIV and we can do a one day build or at least we could go-kart around the pit :-)

Great time. About 35 of the fellow FFR haunted faithful's came out. Burgers on the grill, dirt bikes and Quads blasting through the trails... Even Dave "The Wookie" was trail riding. Great company and great conversations. The cars are great, the friendships better.

Looking forward to the 3rd annual next June.
