I am interested in the pros and cons of the Breeze seat tracks, especially from anyone that has installed them.

I know first hand that everything I have ordered from them works, is great quality and comes with good instructions and Marks help if needed.

I am curious how hard they are to install?
Can you install them easily in the correct location prior to body fitment (and not cause issues later)?
Why are they angled back? does this make the seats look weird? and has anyone installed them an not liked the angled seat?

Would love to get my seats installed so I can perform a more serious go cart (other than backing in and out of the shop!)

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Jeff,

I am also getting ready to order some seat tracks. I opted for the Summit version due to the price. I understand that the Breeze kit only has 4 positions of adjustments while the Summit version is more like a standard seat track you find in a standard car. Here is the URL http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g1153 consider $60 vs $169.00

4209642095Jeff,

I just installed my seats with the Breeze seat pans. The instructions are good except for trying to install the back nuts on the studs. If you have the seats all the way back, it's almost impossible to get the back nuts on the studs. I gave up after An hour trying to get the back nuts on the studs. I ended up marking the back holes in the plate that is bolted to the seat and drilling through the floor. I installed bolts in both back holes. That only took me 20 minutes. The front knobs are not to bad to install, but difficult to get them tight. There just isn't enough room to get needle nose pliers on the knobs. After saying all that, I do like the angle of the seat. It feels more comfortable to me. I don't feel, that I am sitting on the floor. In order to get the seats positioned, I bolted the angled plate to the seat first then I aligned the seat track with the bottom flat plate and positioned it in the car. After finding the best position, I marked the bottom flat plate and drilled holes for the rivets. I used 3/16" x 3/8" long rivets. The seats are very solid. I'm glad I installed bolts on the back studs because I decided to install a seat warmer on the driver's seat. The seat came out very easily and reinstalled in 10 minutes. My only comment for an easier install is to drill holes through the back holes and through the floor pan. IMO the Breeze seat tracks need a redesign to make them easier to install. They are a little pricey, but they are good quality. For the price, they should be powder coated black.
