Went to get title & license yesterday & had a bit of license drama - funny in retrospect & will be calling FFR & Dave Monday AM for the rest of you guys.
Well in a nutshell, my MSO from FFR did not match car #.
MSO VIN starts out as FFR----- but number stamped # starts as F5R-----
Now we all know this is just a SNAFU but as far as license folks are concerned these are two different cars! This was noticed after 2 hours of "Kit Car vs REPLICA" discussions after which they decided they would "give" me a REPLICA title but I would have to go through "KIT CAR" inspection process.
Genius!
Well at that point and now well into the clerk's lunch hour, my thoughts centered around who had the bigger bladder - and she says I'm so 'freaking "mature."
Anyway I wasn't leaving w/o the license and I could tell he was squirming in his chair. After many hours in surgery standing at the table since internship with a way overfull bladder, I knew I could outlast him, or I simply reasoned
I would piss right there so he could live with it the rest of the day!
Impeccable logic!
Well great outcome when he looks at his watch and finally says,
"...what would make you happy? What do you want title to say?"
Well he cleaned it all up in about 3 minutes, the "KIT CAR" inspection got lost in the process, I wrote a check and I walked away w an Antique plate as he ran off to the restroom.
My Title doesn't match number on car but I'm all legal?????????
Will clean up w FFR and Dave on Monday.
What's in your bladder?
Sincerely,
"IRON BLADDER"-DR MOE
Where IS the restroom?
