Torque converters depend on the engine you are using and the intended use of the vehicle. Your best bet is to contact a torque converter company and get their recomendations. There is a company on Long Island Called" Pro Torque" they make their converters ( I have been to the factory) not like some others that claim they do. They make a lot of racing (professional) converters. They offer from stock replacements to all out racing , and are priced accordingly. We put one of their lockup converters behind a Big block chev in a 200 4 r. We had it built for 2600 stall speed and possibility of future Nitrous . It was built to the max with anti balloon plates and torrington bearings. It cost us over 800 $ The engine dynoed at over 480 HP and 525 Tq. so we needed the HD unit.

PS I have NO affiliation with this company.
I assume that you have the lockup thing fiquired out, are you using a computer or the TCI kit?
