Brian, congrats! This is beautiful and I think it's the first complete one in red I've seen. Please post more pictures and tell us more . . . like engine, wheels, interior, etc. What chassis number? Again, congrats on the thrill of the first ride!
(edit: I just noticed #299 . . . a quick build!)

Brian I talked to you at the Wicked Big Meet. You used locking hood pins. I looked into those and I looks like the pin has to be at a 90 degree angle to the surface of whatever panel is being locked. How did you get the pin installed at the correct angle ?

Brian How did you get the locking hood pins to line up with the top surface of the hood or trunk? Looks like you have to install the pin so it is perpendicular to the panel you are closing. So the pins could be at an angle to the frame.

I like those lights. How tough was it go get them to fit? Any easier than the lights that come with the kit (that so many people seem to struggle with)?

What's the grill from? Looks nice too!

Brian. I put the Michael Everson engine cover on my 818. With the engine cover and trunk in place the cover doesn't open very far before rubbing against the trunk. What am I doing wrong? I will try to take pics soon.
