what part is this?

Guys, please go easy on me! I have looked through the manual but I can't identify this part. There is two. Looks to me like its to do with rear end.
Put me out of my misery please. Would you recommend powder coating?

That is a spring perch used with a donor built four-link rear end. They used to be welded in place, looks like a bolt-on item now. The Fox body rear spring would be shortened, the turned onto the perch, the bottom of the spring would set on the lower control arm.

Thanks! So with a complete kit, 3-link, these wouldn't be needed?
