Working on carpeting. Before I cover over the Trans tunnel I see large gaps around the eBrake after mounting. How did you guys button this up before carpet goes in? Or did you just cover the hole with the eBrake leather cover?

Same here. Covered as much as possible with carpet while not restricting the ebrake movement. I have read not much heat comes through the trans tunnel. I hope that is the case or the passenger will not be happy!

Just use the fake leather cover. Water and heat intrusion are not an issue.

I used pond liner (or rubber roofing) seam tape for the larger gaps all over the footboxes.

I took a piece of aluminum and bent and shaped it to fit, then riveted it in to fill the opening at the bottom before putting the cover on. Otherwise, my passenger could look down and see the road under the car, because I didn't install any carpet. I sprayed the interior with lizard skin, then with Raptor bed liner.
