Here it is. The top of the tank is setup to re-use the OEM fuel pump and fuel pump bracket assembly (no modification required - just pull it from the donor and drop it into the new tank), and the same thing for the second OEM fuel level sensor (drops right in though you do have to cutoff the fuel tube that reaches down to the bottom of the tank because it's too long which also means you have to cap the outlet on the top of the sender).

Comes with 3 new rear cockpit aluminum panels and a new tunnel cover. Tunnel cover is not in these pics obviously. Gives a lot of additional legroom, unfortunately for me, the leg room isn't the issue - it's the fact that the top of my back seat hits the roll bar cross tube due to how far I have my seat angled back to get my head down lower. Moving the seat back would require decreasing the incline angle which will raise my head too high.

The passenger side aluminum opens up some potential to have the ECU and some other pieces inside the cabin instead of in there with the tank. That will allow for easier access. You'd have to make a little cover for it obviously, but I like the setup. Might even be able to fit an Accusump over there.

The new tank actually has more capacity and uses the stock pump assembly without dismantling.

I actually took a break line bender and bent the line on the sender that has the sock on the end of it into a pigtail (like a curly Q) and it fit right in without an issue. Not sure if the is will cause problems in the future? Anyone want to give me some input if that's OK to do?

While this tank is looking far better than the 33 tank. IMO the Boyd tank still has it beat. JMO.

Will be ok as long as its out of the way of the float arms. the manual doesnt mention it but you need to cap it off on the outside end.

Maybe, but the Boyd tank sacrifices capacity. I want as much fuel as possible.

One other thing I noticed about the tank is that it has just an upright baffle that's maybe 3" tall. There is no "cup" like the hot rod tank had to keep fuel in it. Not sure the new setup will work as well to keep the pump from starving but who knows. Wish those Holley pickup sponge-things were cheaper.

And another note is that there is no more rollover valve that shuts off fuel flow to the vent line when in a rollover situation.

I was thinking about that. I honestly don't think it will be that big of a difference. That little bowl had round edges at the bottom almost giving any fuel in there extra velocity to splash out.

Yeah, I might try to fab up a bowl that has some partial top edges to it and weld it in.

I bet a tig torch can fit in the oval pump opening. I may try also, just make sure you put some trickle holes in bottom so you don't accidentally starve the pump if there is still gas in the rest of tank right?

Now the question is how did you get this tank from FFR, did they just send it out to you or did you have to pay for it and how much did it cost you.

They charged me, but at a little discount. I bought the new shift linkage also.

I like the new tank. The top looks much more confidence inspiring compared to the original tank. The seal around the pump opening seems sketchy at best.
