I pulled the harness out of a 1996 Cobra. The donor car was running just fine. Some how the prior owner had made the car run without the PATS key ring and a PATS key. I am guessing that it was flashed. I am positive that he did not have the ring and key trick.
I have all of the harness in the roadster at this point. I am getting no power to the fuel pump. I was able to start the pump by giving hit power from my battery charger. The dash lights work and even the radio works. The air bag module is beeping. The engine will not turn over and the pump will not start.
I have a SCT programmer. It powers up when I plug it in. However, it will not read the computer and just errors out.
What is the chance of the PATS being the problem? Or what is the odds that I have missed a plug somewhere? Would the programmer see the computer if the PATS was causing problems? What are the ideas?
