Duke v. Wisconsin - calling Dave Smith!

So the championship game is set for tomorrow night -- my alma mater, Duke, against Dave Smith's, Wisconsin. It has the potential to be an awesome game. I can't say who will win, but I'd predict that they will have to play their best ball of the season to take the title.

Dave, all in the name of good sport and friendly rivalry, what say we make it interesting? I propose we bet a new 818C on the game's outcome. You risk a kit, and I risk the cost of a build worthy of display in your SEMA booth next year.

Quick update... "The man" Dave and I have "spoken" by e-mail, and he is spending family time this Easter as well -- not sure he'll make it to the computer today, but he assures me that we'll put up something entertaining for you guys. Stay tuned! :D

Sorry, guys, I just couldn't get Dave to sack up and put an 818 on the line...some excuse about thinking a Texas-sized bet will jinx his team tonight. ;) Maybe a future project will grow out of the challenge, we'll see.

Meanwhile, in that same spirit of good sport and rivalry, we've made a modest cash bet on the game -- where the loser writes a check to the charity of the winner's choice. Details will follow, possibly after the title has been won.
