Body/Door kick plate for 33 Hot Rod needed

Has anyone fabricated a set of kick plates to the protect body when entering and exiting these cars?
This seems to be a real important piece of hardware that doesn't come with the kit.
Any suggestions?

There are sill plates available to go over the top, Innovative rodding offers either plain or with script/graphics.

I got sills with my kit

They are on my packing list too. Part numbers 33927 add 33928

They don't fit of course, but I may cut them down and powder coat them.

That is what I was thinking about doing..just cutting the ends off..rounding the edges and polishing or even painting.
