Hello,
I am going to build an MK 4 roadster. I'm in the process of moving from Iowa to Michigan. After I move I will be about an hour and a half from the build school! Neat. I'm going to take the build school later this year and order a complete kit, engine/transmission etc. after completing the course. Anyway enough from me.

Welcome! I'm also in Michigan, in Lake Orion. I'm also probably about 1-1/2 hours from the build school location (Howell) although maybe not the same direction as you. If you have any questions, or want to see a completed Mk4, I happen to have one in my garage, just finished. There's also a great club in the area, Great Lakes Cobra Club, with a number of FFR's plus about every other brand. This is a great area for car enthusiasts. Multiple events every weekend during the warm weather months. You haven't lived until you've participated in the Woodward Dream Cruise in August.

Welcome! I to live in Michigan. Was thinking about moving to Forida but changed my mind.Maybe see you down at the Woodward Dream Cruise.I've been to every one since the start. Roger

Traverse City is a great location. Love it there. But hope you like snow. :p You will be a little more than 1-1/2 hours from the build school though. Even for us fast Michigan drivers you couldn't make it from Traverse City to Howell in that time. More like 3 to 3-1/2 hours.
