Hello all, figured we would post some of the new extended wheel studs that ISC just came out with. There are 12.9 and m12x1.25 for Subarus. Installation is simple and these are super strong.

Pricing starts at $35 for 5 studs, and we can do a discounted rate for the first 5 buyers.

Aftermarket extended wheel studs are a necessity when it comes to putting big power to the ground or running certain wheel spacers/wheel fitments. ISC now has a solution/ offering for those in need! Our ISC wheel studs are not only stronger than OEM, but they are longer to accommodate almost any spacer/ wheel fitment need! Made from some of the strongest materials available (Grade 12.9) these wheel studs are sold in sets of 5 per package and are an M12x1.25 thread pattern and about 3 inches in length.

These specific wheel studs will accommodate a 1993+ Subaru hub.

Note: If you are looking for a wheel spacer with integrated studs and do not want to remove your OEM studs please view our ISC bolt on wheel spacers and adapters that come with integrated studs, (so you do not have to remove your OEM studs) this listing is for wheel studs only and meant to replace your OEM studs to use with a “traditional” hub centric spacer.

Given that you have no way of knowing the precise length of stud needed by a customer, I am assuming that the idea is that the customer orders the one-size-fits-all studs and then cuts them down to the desired size for his particular application. Any special trick to that?

Silvertop,
This is what 3" studs look like in stock Subaru forester wheels.
You don't really want to cut them off. The unthreaded nose helps align the nut and prevents cross threading.
I feel these are necessary if you are doing any autocross, track days, or racing.
Also longer stronger studs should be used if you are going to use any wheel spacers.

You could cut them off with a grinder cutoff wheel. They are hardened so a saw might be tough.

As said above, they are not designed to be cut. Extended studs are common for individuals running wheel spacers, or autocrossing or using their car as a track machine.

Understood. The excess length (which will vary depending on the thickness of the wheel spacers) is really only a cosmetic issue, though on a streeter, a fairly important one. If cutting or grinding them is not desirable, presumably they can be purchased in a variety of lengths -- if not from you, perhaps from someone else.

Silvertop,
About a year ago I looked long and hard for Subaru studs like these without success. I would get these if I didn't already have the ARP M12x1.50 studs.

there is a whole thread about wheel studs here:

OK Andrew, I'll bite on four sets of five studs. I double checked pricing on this stuff and $35 per set of five studs is a nice price, and particularly if there is an additional "early bird" discount involved. Please PM me with final price and payment information.

the heads look nice and small... will they fit through the rear abs sensor hole without being turned down?

Good question! Also, you can find intermediate lengths, but if you use spacers it's probably not wise to go there. It's a "race car" look. Get up for it.
