IRS Pin Drive Trigo fitment problem...

3959139592Hello all, and thank you in advance for any helpful replies. I'm assembling a pin drive width IRS and it's time to mount the wheels (15" Trigo FIAs.) When I slide the Trigo adaptor onto the new Ford Racing 5-lug kit car IRS hub, the studs are so long that the pin nuts cannot be tightened fully onto the adaptor. I have included pictures. Am I missing something here? Is a spacer required? I've seen no mention of this anywhere. I'm assuming it's operator error at this point. Ideas?

I have always had to cut the length of the studs to get them to work

Depending on your brake configuration, they are cut to length:

Aha! Thank you, everyone. I also received a call from Trigo that stated the same thing. My apologies. I appreciate the responses.

The next thing you will need to do is fit the wheels to the pins, they often do not line up and will not go on. Glen Parks of cobra fame sells a metal template that I bought that really helps fix this if you have a problem. It shows you what pins don't line up and then you can slide a long tube over the any pins not line up and tweek them until the template fits. Problem fixed!
