Fuel hose connectors won't fit

Hi Guys,

Probably a dumb question, but I'm having trouble getting the FF white fuel connectors to hook up to my 03 WRX engine. The FF fittings on the other end seem to connect fine to the tank, almost too easy, but then again double O'ring so shouldn't take too much press on force. Anyone else had the same problem. I hate to lean on them too much and break something. If the size is wrong, any suggestions where I might pick up a couple of these?

Did the 03 have hose clamps at the engine or quick disconnects? You should go with whatever your engine had originally.

Hoses directly onto the engine hard lines for both my 02 and my 04 engines. Just slip the hose on and add a clamp. No quick disconnect.

I'm pretty sure I ditched the connectors and just used hose clamps on my '02 motor. I'll check in the morning - it was so long ago in the build that I can't be completely certain without looking.

I checked my shop manual, and you guys are absolutely right - no quick disconnects. Funny how you can get a mind set and not even think of the obvious. FF gives you quick disconnects, assume you need to use them. Parts left over, that's a big no no!

He's only about 15 miles or so from me. :) There's another guy about 3 miles from my work who is starting an 818 too. Indy almost has as many as Cincy.

Well, cincy already had one rolling down a hill, on a dyno, at an autocross, etc etc. Only thing we can hope for is a titled one.
