One of the issues that I have is that I am missing the frame mount from the mustang for the single rear brake flex hose. After much time searching this forum I found that this was a problem for a number of others as well. Of course Ford no longer produces the part so the only option I could find was to go to dual rear flex lines (one to each side).
Well today I found a solution. While picking up some brake line at the local auto parts store I posed this problem to the parts guy who is also their performance expert. I brought in the OEM flex hose (below) and this is what he came up with. All I need do is remove the original flex line from the bracket and then drill the bracket so I can bolt on the new line. I will make an "L" bracket for the frame and then bolt this on and attach the 3/16" hard line. Best part is the cost was less than $30 all in. Apparently this is a standard rear line for an F-150.
So a special thanks to Joey at Benson Auto Parts in Rockland.
