I need some advice on how to attach the mesh screens to the oval openings on the front of the my Mk IV next to the radiator. Is is best to glue the mesh to the body with some kind of epoxy, or is there another way to do this neatly?

Mine are held on by the ducts that go in those openings, to which I connected the tubing for the footwell vents.

I just used silicone. The mesh engages fairly well around the (brake cooling) duct and the silicone bonds well enough to the fiberglass. You can push/pull them out later if you want but it will deform the mesh, it holds that well.

yes, use silicone. Just wipe off the fiberglass with a little acetone or another cleaner first.
