The instructions that came with the update tank (1N) were really confusing for me. Factory Five has done a great job breaking down the instructions for the different donors, but I don't think that was done here. Their donor only has 2 lines on top of the engine (mine has 2 fuel plus 1 vent), an external fuel filter (mine's in the tank), the float wire on my sending unit is shaped differently so i didn't bend it, and there's no mention of what to do with the fuel dampers (the little black saucers before the hard fuel lines, mine has 2).
The stock fuel pump assembly was a very tight fit and it seems the floats on the pump and sending unit will hit each other.
Routing the brake and clutch lines between the tank and frame like they suggest seems like a risky proposition because of clearance, but I don't want to route them outside the frame (above the driver's side rear trailing arm mount) for fear they'll give me issues with body or wheel well mounting.
It seems the vent line coming off the tank will be kinked when the firewall is installed. Speaking of that, there's no mention of how the tank is secured. Since there's no tabs or straps I assume the wedge shape of the tank and firewall will accomplish this, though I'd definitely want to put some sort of rubber between them.
I called tech support yesterday and was told that I was the first call about the new fuel tank and he had not heard of any issues. Any ideas are much appreciated!

Hey Ben I emailed FFR the first day I got the 1N update parts to ask about the side aluminum and Vinny sent me back pics of where the pieces go. In one of them it looked like they had the brake line run around the outside of the frame. Since I'd already run mine between the tank and the frame I emailed Vinny back and asked if I should do what it said in the manual (between the tank and frame) or if the new tank changed that. He said he wouldn't put the lines between the tank and frame so I ran mine around the outside... I think I saw someone else did it that way in the brake line routing thread. I think the radiator lines go that way too so I'm hoping they don't block anything, but it'd be great to hear from someone who has their body mounted to know for sure.

Here's a pic of how mine is routed.

And here's the pic Vinny from FFR tech sent me. It doesn't look like the lines go btwn the tank, and i believe that's the rad hose on the outside as well.

You should be fine with where your brake line is it.

Thanks for the update. I called with the same question and the guy I talked to said, "Well, brake lines don't move and fuel tanks don't move, so I'd do it the way the manual says."
I think emailing tech support is the way to go, he seemed a little annoyed that is called and I really don't blame him. As you can tell from this original post I was kind of bombarding him with too many questions instead of giving him a chance to read all my questions, with pictures to support, and then formulating some advice.
