I took a few days off from the business to try and get this car somewhat ready for the Huntington Beach Cruise- In. I spent two days on the headlights!!!!! What a PITA-thank God I don't have to do them again. I started putting the body panels on so I had an idea what I could do with the supports for the wing. I decided to eliminate the rear trunk hinges and just install 4 mini Quick Latches. I used Chad's design for the wing bracing-thanks Chad for a great design and pictures in your build thread. I am waiting for the wiring harness from Brian at IWire, should be here this week, then body comes off and car to engine builder to finish his work and then some "fire and smoke". Can't wait for this puppy to talk to me!! Here are some pictures of the progress on the car since the last thread. If you guys see anything I need to address-please let me know.

Hi NorCal
Great job. Everything looks good to me. I'm going to work on my headlights this week. I hope it not a PITA as everyone seems to say.
But they say, "If it was easy, any one could to it". I think that what separates all of the builders from the rest of the world.

Looking good, is there any reason you did not come off the top of the wing frame for support of the side panels and not use the brace from Mechi3 ? or to support you bar for the hood pins ? Also can't see but did you add any trans/shifter protection to the wing brace (looks like no as it seems you did not use the very rear frame bar for wing mount).

The Racepak IQ3 is a great piece. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at similar products. The install was very simple and the ability to add on gauges is really easy.
