Wow, finished some housework and thought I'm jump on the forum quick. Who would have guessed I'd end up in a whole new place? First impression, I like the forum software.

So, is everyone ready to jump over here or are we still on 2 forums? I don't really want to have to keep up with 2 forums for all that long. Also, I'll miss the Clubhouse if we don't set one up. It wasn't super active, but it's nice to have a place where I don't have to regulate myself and I know what everyone else is really thinking.

Good luck new forum!

Hey Gordon, I've been good. The car has been neglected for the last year or so. I got married last October and I just haven't had the time to devote. I've still get to get the carb tuned properly and it's still in gelcoat. Disgraceful, I know. :)

I see you're building yourself a new one. Did you post the specs somewhere or are they a secret? Given that Alex used pretty much everything you sell, I imagine your build would be pretty similar to his. :D

No big secret. I am building the car to run TTS time trials with NASA. It is a class dominated my Vettes. Specs are;
early mark 1 with update mark 3 drivers footbox and mark 4 pass foot box.
Mark 4 footbox protection and door bars as well as some chassis stiffening
5 link
pro bump kit
P/S
347 w/ SA T5 and .80 5th gear
3:55 rear gears with Torsen
Wilwood 6/4 brakes
Body have Daytona Bill's rear flares
Fuel cell

Street legal.

The last couple years I have been running time trials in my Mustang and have done well considering it was really out classed by some of the modern European cars I was competing against. because of the chassis mods I had to do to make the car handle well I was required to use hp levels 2 classes lower. That tough for a 3350lb car only allowed to make 280 rwhp which is 12-1 while my competitors are making 10-1.

This class is allowed 8.7-1 rwhp. That should make it competitive against the Vettes, and I can do it with 325 rwhp. Way easy for a stage 4 engine.

Kevin, I am going to miss the Club House as well. Hopefully we will get a supporting member type of setup here and be able to have a place to go a little off topic. Frank
