After 15+ years of driving and racing my roadster, it might be the end of the road for my 1991 donor shortblock. I think I lost the timing chain yesterday, and replaced a lifter a couple hundred miles ago; rotor doesn't turn on crank. Only perhaps 110K miles on the shortblock though. Haven't yet done more yet than pull the dizzy and see the gear is intact and engages the cam gear. Unknown now if valves are bent.

In 2002 I put on AFR 165 heads and Cobra intake, upgraded injectors, 1.7 RR, 65mm TB, etc.

Car has otherwise been extensively modified for SCCA Solo II events. Also looking to stay with EFI.

Thinking of either replacing broken parts or getting a new 331 shortblock with good cam.
