View Full Version : Mk4 8243 ready to go home

This one belongs to "sejust2009" Steve. I painted it the weekend before last, got a hand putting the body back on the chassis last weekend and finished putting it together this weekend. It's ready for Steve to pick up and take home to Ohio where he'll install the carpet and seats then begin the registration process in plenty of time to hit the road on the first nice Spring day!

It was snowing all day today but as soon as we get sunshine and no precipitation I'll take it outside for a couple of photos because the garage lighting and camera's eye don't do the color justice. With the flash it's almost got it on a closer in shot like this but doesn't do well for an overall.

I am totally jealous. Nice build, with a terrific finish!

I look forward to seeing some outside pictures as Jeff mentioned, and I hope you post some updates as you get her wrapped up Steve. Really a very nice build.

Hi Jeff, that's really a cool color combination and a super great job. Love to see all the picture to get more inspiration for my future build.
