Im looking at this and have no idea how to attach it to the body. Any ideas, maybe links to a thread i missed.

Thanks

I just saw one mounted on the red 818S in the FFR showroom. It is attached (either bolts or rivets) to the bottom left and right flange of the front bumper. The bumper is attached to the radiator frame with two bolts and then the spoiler below the bumper.

I'm asking about the rear spoiler not the street splitter. The carbon fiber under the car, I'm just going to use rivets because you wont be able to see them when its all done.

I'm going to use that thick double sided 3M adhesive

I'm leaning toward some sort of epoxy, but idk what's going to eat through the body.

I used 10-32 bolts and nylok nuts on the back side.

I am using epoxy but gluing studs to the spoiler then through bolting (no exposed rivets/screws). That way it is removable without destroying the spoiler itself. That double side tape is very strong too.

I use this double sided tape for all sorts of things and love it. I like the idea of a clean install with no exposed fasteners but worry that this tape might fail at speed and my beautiful carbon fiber would go tumbling down the road. This thread is a few months old now, have any of you guys used the 3m adhesive? If so, how's it working?

Any chance someone could provide some pics of the spoiler installed? Rivets were provided, but I am not sure that is the best solution for me. Not sure I trust the double sided tape either.

Wayne, how do you secure the nylock nuts to the spoiler and ensure you have the holes in the rear fascia exactly aligned with them?

Drill both at the same time

Thanks Wayne - so what are you drilling into on the spoiler? Mine's wrapped up in storage but I recall it being hollow.

The spoiler back face lays flat against the rear of the car and the top face is horizontal and lays on the top of the rear body piece.

Ahh ok, makes more sense now. Thank you!

i just recieved the spoiler, very nice piece! I was playing around trying to fit it up, wondering if anyone has it fit up and mounted yet? if so please post some pics. the spoiler definatly looks like it needs trimed a bit on the ends to fit the width of my rear bumper. i like the idea of bolting it on with some hidden fasteners like others have talked about above.
