How many 818"s are going to the Cruise-In April 25 in Huntington Beach?? What a great location for a car show! I will trailer my 818R down from Roseville,Ca. How many others will take their cars (finished or unfinished) to the beach?

There should be several at this years event. I look forward to seeing all of the builds in person.

I hope there are a bunch. I got to sit in an 818S last year for the first time at HB. It was very impressive. It will be fun to talk to real builders who can share their adventures and experiences so far. I would love to track this car. Looking forward to it.
Thanks,
WEK.

Depending on my registration process mine might be there. But its going to be pretty ratty im sure. Not bothering with body work till the hardtop is released. Currently just doing enough to get by and get through registration.

I am registered now to drive and live a few miles away. I attended last year with an incomplete 818.
i want to attend but might shy away. Why? Everyones car there is tip top. I beat the heck out of my car and it shows. I have loose ends and part of me feels like i am disgracing the 818 and ffr to enter it into a show like that. Someone talk me into going please

Brando,
At last years HB cruise-in I asked you a million questions about your build and took a picture of every part on your car. I thank you so very much for taking the time to steer me in the right direction.I religiously, every night, looked for yours and Chad Plavans build threads (plus everyones threads) on how to put this car together since the build manual was not that helpful for the "R". You have to bring your car to the show 'cause I still have questions to ask you. I hope Chad brings his car too. Your car is what it is "a racecar".
See you there April 25, NorCal Ray
Yea, track cars aren't suppose to be pretty. At least that's the excuse I've been using.

Brandon, a rough and ready track car gets more respect from me than a pretty garage queen.

That was motivating. Thank you I needed that. I will be there with my beater, 100%.

I second the motion to bring the car. Last year was great, and it helped me a huge amount, and seeing one that is run is even better.
To Ray's original question, mine will stay in the garage as I haven't even picked up wheels for it yet, not sure how it would survive on the dolly down I5.
