View Full Version : Throttle Cable Mark 4

Now that I have started my build I am sure this will be the first of many questions. I just finished installing the pedal box and was trying to put the throttle cable in place. However the hole in the panel (steel plate) is so large that the cable and all associated nuts just pass right through. How is the cable locked into the panel? Am I missing something? Using the wrong hole? It is the one that sits at about the 10 o'clock position from the steering bearing (looking from the engine compartment)

We should have the Mk4 back in the showroom in a couple of days. I will post a picture as soon as it is back here at FFR.

Paul I have a Coupe but I think it is the same. I used the cable that came with the "complete" kit. I used a 5/16" washer with an 11/16" OD as a bushing. Worked well and looks okay.
