Does anyone have a photo or can take one of the intersection of the hood, fender and door, I am working on this area and am not really satisfied. I don't recall seeing any photos and the manual is of no help.

I have a huge gap where the door was cut back.

I recall somebody built up the windshield surround to cover that gap but don't remember who

I don't have a gap like that as I have not trimmed anything. My concern is that the fender and hood rest on the door and after it is painted it will get ugly. I have trimmed the fender on one side and got a little clearance but it is looking like I will need to ad material under the hood and fender to reshape the intersection.

Aloha818S did

Craig, you just determined that your side sails are not positioned correctly... 5/8 to pod, not the cut edge, when you move it forward the windshield will hide more space and the gap reduces

I don't remember what I measured to, I have to go check. Even so, if I move the side sail forward, the fender and hood move with it. My fender aligns with the angles on the bottom front of the sail. If I don't move the fender and hood then I end up with an awkward intersection where the side sail meets the fender.

I trim the fender and hood for clearance. That way when they move around in the wind and bumps they do not hit the windshield area.

You can see what I mean in this pic.
