Actually Olli the roadster is not an FF but thanks for the kind words. So let me take a moment and introduce myself.
Oh, where to begin. Let’s try the beginning. When I started building my roadster Factory Five wasn’t an option. So I ordered an Everett Morrison frame. That came north and I got it to the go cart stage and ordered the body. A year later I was on the road. That was 1998. By then Factory Five Mk1’s started appearing on the road and I began to make a few friends. 17 years later I’ve come to know many of the FF community in the northeast. Between summer runs to Lake George, foliage cruises, breakfasts, and more, I truly think I’ve logged over 10,000 miles looking at the back of an FF or seeing one in my mirror. One of highlights of my life was in July of 2013 when Pam & I crossed the town line into Lake George, NY and the odometer turned to 100,000 miles. Icing on the cake was sharing it with a group of like-minded people that day. The people I’ve met are great and the stable of FF cars constantly amazes me. The engineering and continuous improvements are impressive.
On the personal side I was winding down a business a few years ago and started looking for something new to do. I came across Watsons StreetWorks. Steve & Carol Watson were looking to retire and we worked out a deal. By late 2012 I was the proud owner of a street rod accessory company and moved it to New Hampshire. We continue to expand our offerings and have products that will enhance every FF offering from the roadster to the 818. The whole staff at StreetWorks looks forward to being a more active part of this great community. Our tag line is “Innovative products for today’s custom car builder” so take a look at the website and judge for yourself if we’re on track.
